NOTIFICATION 

New Delhi, the 25th September, 1992 

G.S.R. 779(E).—In exercise of the powers? conferred by clause (f) of sub¬ 
section (2) of section 24 of the Supreme Court Judges (Conditions of Service) 
Act, 1958 (41 of 1958), the Central Government hereby makes the following 
rules further to amend the Supreme Court Judgen Rules. 1958, namely : — 

(1) These ruie^ may be called the Supreine Court Judges (Second 

Amendment) Rules, 1992. 

(2) The> shall come into force on the date of their pubTcation in the 

Ofiicial Gazette. 

2. In the Supreme Court Judges Rules, 1959, in rule 4, in the Explanation, 
for the WDrds ‘'but excludes the charges on account of water and eleclricity 
consumed in excess of rupees twenty thousand per annum and the excessive 
amount of such cnarges shall be borne by tlie Judges himself” the w'ords “but 
excludes the charges on account of water and cicctnc'ty consumed in excess of

360 kilo litres of water and 1200 units of power per month and the excessive 
amount of such charges shall be borne by the Judge himself” shall be sub¬ 
stituted.
